Rylex Custom Cabinetry and Closets Warranty

At Rylex Custom Cabinetry and Closets (a division of Rylex Enterprises, Inc), we stand behind the quality of our materials, craftsmanship, and installation. The following warranty outlines the coverage provided with your project.

Warranty Coverage
Rylex warrants that its wood melamine shelving and installation hardware will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for ten (10) years from the date of installation.

Who Is Covered
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and remains valid for as long as the original purchaser owns and resides in the residence where the cabinetry was installed. This warranty is non-transferable.

What Rylex Will Do
If a defect in materials or workmanship occurs during the warranty period, Rylex will repair or replace the defective shelving or installation hardware at no charge, at the sole discretion of Rylex.

This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective components and does not include labor for removal or replacement performed by anyone other than Rylex.

Installation Requirement
This warranty is valid only when the product has been installed by Rylex professional installers. Rylex reserves the right to determine whether a product defect exists and the appropriate remedy.

What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

• misuse, abuse, accidents, or neglect
• alterations or improper maintenance
• exposure to the elements or water damage
• excessive humidity, dryness, or temperature fluctuations
• structural movement, settling of the home, wall irregularities or changes in building conditions that may affect the alignment, fit or operation of cabinetry, shelving or hardware.
• normal wear and tear, including cosmetic changes such as fading, discoloration, or scratches

Rylex is not responsible for damages resulting from improper use of the product, including but not limited to climbing on cabinetry or shelving, hanging from components, or exceeding recommended load capacities.

Additional Warranty Conditions

• Minor adjustments to doors, drawers, and hardware that may become necessary over time due to normal use or natural settling of the home are considered routine maintenance and are not defects in materials or workmanship.
• Slight variations in color, texture, grain pattern, or sheen between samples and finished products are normal and not considered defects.
• Certain hardware or accessories supplied by third-party manufacturers may carry their own warranties. Rylex does not extend warranty coverage beyond that provided by the original manufacturer.
• Proper care and maintenance of cabinetry and shelving is required to maintain warranty coverage.
