Our Process

Step 1: Research
By landing here on our website, you’ll discover not only examples of our custom work, but also a wealth of inspiration and organizational ideas for any space you are aiming to improve.

Step 2: Reach out to us.
To request a consultation, you can use the button at the top of the page to contact us. Simply fill out the form with your contact information and share which areas of your home you’re thinking about updating. Or, you can give us a call at 845.258.1223, email at Rylex@Rylexonline.com or stop in our showroom located at 636 County Route 1 in Pine Island, NY. To ensure a designer is available for a consultation, it's best to call ahead and schedule an appointment.

Step 3: Connecting
During this phase, we discuss your project needs and arrange an in-home consultation. We'll take detailed measurements of your space and review the items you want to store or display. We’ll also get a sense of your style, and the vibe you’d like to create by exploring materials, finishes, and your budget.

Step 4: The Design
Once we return to the office, we will begin working on your project. This phase typically takes 6 to 10 business days. After completing the initial design, we will provide you with a detailed estimate and 3D renderings. These will allow you to review the design, offer feedback, and request any modifications you'd like to see.

Step 5: Finalize
Once all selections are finalized, we will collect a 50% deposit and schedule an installation date. The timeline for installation will depend on the materials and door styles chosen:

• 4–6 weeks for most projects
• 10–12 weeks for kitchens and more complex designs

Step 6: Preparation for Installation Day
To ensure a smooth installation process, please make sure the following steps are completed prior to your scheduled installation date:

1. Prepare for Install: If any plumbing, electrical work, or painting needs to be done in the space, please complete this before installation day.
2. Clear the Space: All existing shelving and any items stored in the closet must be removed beforehand. Any furniture that may obstruct the installation should be moved and pathways should be cleared to allow easy access for our team.

Step 7: Installation
On installation day, our professional installers arrive on time. Our installation team will be ready to transform your space and bring your vision to life. Once the installation is complete, you'll have the opportunity to look it over and ensure everything meets your expectations. At that time, any remaining balance will be collected by our installers.

Step 8: Smile
