is complete and you’re loving it! Now, it’s important to know how to care for your custom cabinetry so that it retains its beauty for years to come. Rylex custom products are easy to maintain and do not require special care. For general cleaning, we recommend

wiping with a lint-free

, slightly damp cloth or sponge which will remove most dust and fingerprints. Coffee, tea or difficult stains may be removed using a mild, non-abrasive, all-purpose cleaner and a soft cloth. It is also very important not to over-saturate the cabinetry surfaces. If liquid runs down the cabinet door or panels the wood can rapidly expand causing disastrous results to the joints and finish. Dry all wet surfaces immediately with a soft cloth and never leave wet clothes on cabinetry surfaces.

It is important to note there are some cleaning products that can cause irreversible damage to the custom cabinet’s finish. Never use cleaning products containing wax, oils, abrasives, bleach, solvents, acids or strong alkaline bases, as well as, steel wool or abrasive scouring pads. Waxes and polishes may cause a film to build up on the surface of the cabinet which will attract dust, dirt, and other airborne pollutants. This may also make the coating appear blotchy and affect the original sheen of the finish.
